The phosphorescent pigments 7 are normally of a lighter shade than the fluorescent pigments 8. The red phosphorescent pigments 7 are used with red fl fluorescent pigments 8, green phosphorescent pigments 7 with green fl fluorescent pigments 8, and so on. To vary the shade, a small amount of fl uorescent pigment 8 of a different color can sometimes be added. To obtain an acceptable result, ie the same color impression both in daylight and afterglow, the amount of phosphorescent pigment 7 should be between 30 and 60% by weight, preferably between 35 and 50% by weight and most preferably about 40% by weight. The amount of fluorescent pigment 8 should be between 1.5 and 4.5% by weight, preferably between 1.5 and 3.5% by weight and most preferably between 1.5 and 2.5% by weight.

Claims (12) [1] Illuminating product having at least one colored signal field, characterized in that the colored signal field (3) is printed in one layer and that the layer comprises both phosphorescent pigments (7) and non-fluorescent pigments (8). [2] A product according to claim 1, wherein the phosphorescent pigments (7) and the fluorescent pigments (8) have the same color and wherein the shade of the color of the phosphorescent pigments (7) and the fluorescent pigments (8) are different. [10] A product according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein the layer with colored signal field (3) comprises a lacquer (9) and wherein the lacquer (9) is a UV-curing or solvent-based screen printing lacquer.
